This case arrived new and as described. I ordered it thinking that I might like it, but like clothing, sometimes you just have to try it on. What one likes, another may not, and vice versa. Ultimately I returned this as it did not meet my preferences once I tried it on.The case was a good fit for fit my 16" MBP, though what I consider a good fit is to have a bit of wiggle room. This had a good, waterproof, canvas exterior, a plush interior, and good zippers. I wouldn't have any concern about laptop scratches - this case addresses that well.Why I ultimately returned it: With the computer in the case, it just felt a bit too floppy. The handles, though double or triple thick material, were much like canvas bag handles with no rigidity. Possibly due to the extra space available, when held by the handles, the sides tended to be pulled outwards, bulging the sides to pick up the slack - but that was only because the sides were super-flexible material.So, if that's what you like - super-flexible (like converse court shoes compared to leather), this may be the bag for you.Five stars because, though it was not my preference, there is nothing wrong with the product - well implemented to a certain taste.I bought this for my razer blade pro 17.3 inche laptop. I have owned this for over 3 years. Its a great bag to carry my laptop. The inside is a soft material that is not the thickest but it will not rip easily either. I have had it for 3 years and its still intact. The outside protection is tough. No ripping has happened. The black has faded over the years. Other than those two things. Everything is great about this product. I would recomend it to a close friend who Is in the market for a laptop cover. It really is a good product I probably could have done a better job to care for it during this time. Its held up very well.Firstly this item arrived on time actually a day early.It fits my Lenovo 17.3 G70 Laptop perfectly as well as my wireless mouse and the charger.I like that I can hide the handles if I don't need them.The stitching is great quality with the main and second zippers are practically stitched to be invisible.The inner lining is great soft wont scratch your machine at all and its well padded.I wasn't sure how it could be water proof, so of course I tested it (used a spray bottle to simulate as close as I could get to getting somewhat wet running from the rain) and though the outside was left somewhat damp after brushing off the sprinklings of water with my hand the insides were dry and safe. Also the outside dried off pretty fast as well.The one thing I didn't like so much is the color its kind of dull, and the fabric is a lint magnet, I had to use my lint brush on it the very first day.But all in all very nice product which achieves it main functions to carry my laptop safely and compact.This was a storage option purchase. I don't think I would want it for heavy uses during travel, as it is not very think. The construction appears to be pretty solid. It's good for storing your laptop around the house though.I bought this case a long time ago and still today it does a great job protecting my ASUS Strix. I highly recommended because it provides hit protection and is water resistant.I thought it would be more rigid to provide protection, however, it effectively guards the computer while its interior is quite soft and padded, which offers great cushion. Still today, with almost 2 years of frequent use, the padding stays intact. Also, I had taken out my laptop on a rainy day and no water goat had been able to trespass the sleeve.I love the classic style since it matches well my business outfit and I can confidently take it to meetings with partners and suppliers. The zipper pocket is large enough to carry the battery power cord, notebook and my mouse. The only missing element would be a shoulder strap, but apart from this, this is a stylish and professional sleeve case.Fits my Alienware 15R3 an extra large 15in laptop, the case looks old right off the bat due to the type of material used (canvas). Overall a functioning case fits the power supply and a wired mouse. The handles are a nice bonus and feel sturdy. the inside is soft and wont scratch your laptop. It only gets 3 stars due to the outside material look and feel.*Updated 08.13.17The case gets bumper to a 4 star, it's because the material used is very durable and strong and the case is large enough to carry my Alienware 15R3 and make me feel safe it won't break out the bottom. Plus it's large enough to fit the power pack and a wired mouse. I also have great service from the seller. I'll be remembering them for future purchasesThis laptop sleeve was exactly what I was looking for! I do not like the feel of neoprene material which many of the other sleeves are made of; this canvas feels natural. In addition, I have a larger laptop bag, but I wanted something that would fit inside a backpack to carry onto an airplane. Plus, it has a zippered side pocket to put a power cord and a mouse; but very slim.It also has two handles which you can stuff into the bag and conceal. Perfect for what I was looking for and not expensive! I would give it more stars if I could! One tiny thing is that it does seem to attract a bit of lint, but this is really so minor.Inexpensive but good quality. I bought this while on in Georgia. My 15" laptop crapped out on me and still had two weeks of training so bought a new laptop. The new laptop happened to be a 17" and consequently, could not fit in my old laptop bag. I needed at least a sleeve so that's all I was really looking for. I found this one which is a more sound sleeve with an added bonus of handles. The front pocket works to put your charging cables in there as well but I just needed it as a sleeve to safely put it in my backpack for traveling. I haven't tested the water resistant qualities so I'll just have to take their word unless I spill something on it or face the rain.If you are the owner of an Alienware 15 R3 model (with the grill at the rear) then this is the carry case for you.Perfect fit, I'm aware it says for 17 inch, but be mindful that the grill on those machines adds a bit to the size. 15 inch case won't do it.The case it's self will protect against scratches and soft bumps. But if you're looking for something to protect your machine while it's in luggage or something, this isn't it.This ones for maintaining a sleek appearance, quick and easy access.After carrying a big bulky laptop case around with my on my travels, I decided I wanted something more simpler, which in turn wouldn't be as heavy as I can't constantly put unrelated junk inside the bag (we've all done it!)I purchased this sleeve and only regretted not doing it sooner! It's big enough for everything I need to take around with me and is much lighter too, obviously.It's simple yet effective and I would recommend it to anyone, especially the version with told fold-away handles.This is a good product, it was big enough for my laptop, good quality too. The only thing missing was a strap to go over my shoulder for me, to make it even easier to carry.Most laptops are under 15 inches and I often carry them in a pouch instead of a bag. The problem with pouches is that there is nowhere for the electric leads. This 17 inch sleeve is well made. It's strong and durable. It is slightly bigger than a slim 15 inch bag but it has enough space for the cables and is very light weight. There is a handy front pocket also which is very useful.I Recieved it quite fast and was pleasantly surprised at the quality, I Love the soft fluffy lining its gorgeous . It as a great zipped pocket on the side for accessories ,I Can fit a pen & a wired mouse and the laptop charger into this pocket its roomy and again beautifully lined to protect your laptop & accessories .
